Us Lincoln dealers got a copy of the cover and the article on the Continental for free, that was kind of cool.

Motortrend in general is the best auto magazine going right now. They are in my top 3 for YouTube channels as well, and number one when it comes to providing consistent quality content.

Haven't read C/D in a few years but I remember losing interest back around the time Csere took over. Didn't like the direction the magazine took after that. RT is the better magazine these days.

I subscribe to C&D for Erza Dyer and John Phillips.

John Philips is the only reason why I even bother with Car and Driver these days. He’s certainly a progenitor, if not the progenitor of most of the quirky automotive writers out there today.

Otherwise, the magazine is feeling rather stale these days. The same goes for Automobile. Actually, I’d rank that magazine below Car and Driver .

Motor Trend and Road and Track are probably the better two American automotive magazines out there. But they both have faults.

Motor Trend trends a bit too yellow for my tastes, and its website is a visual nightmare that feels like its stuck between Web 1.0 and 2.0. It does produce some of the best automotive content on YouTube, however. Road and Track has the better magazine and website, but its YouTube content is utterly forgettable.

If you combined the two... Hmmmm... That could get interesting.

I miss Sport Compact Car. Oh well, I still have MotoIQ.com, but Coleman doesn’t post nearly enough.
